Bella Collina Wedding

Happy Monday! I am thrilled to share Sarah & Andrew’s Bella Collina Wedding today.

Sarah & Andrew had a beautiful white and green classic wedding. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, they exchanged vows on the beautiful grand lawn. Their reception was also held in the clubhouse and decorated beautifully. The dark mahogany tables covered with lush white and green florals really added a romantic and warm feeling to the room. Their 3 tiered classic white wedding cake not only tasted amazing but was stunningly beautiful.

They danced the night away with to live music by Bay Kings Band. As a matter of fact, one of the sweetest moments was when Andrew got up and sang with the band Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.

How did you two meet?

We met in high school English class, in Connecticut. Sarah switched into the class early in the school year. She gave Andrew (hard to write in the third person) music recommendations. Sarah noticed that Andrew was one of the few boys who was not afraid to sit next to her. Later that school year at the annual Relay for Life is when our family and friends think we met.

We are unsure why we never told them that. We spent that whole night walking and talking, and Sarah realized how kind Andrew was to walk with her rather than run with his friends. Sarah and I started dating that summer. Our first date was to see the movie Transformers, Sarah barely remembers the movie because she was so nervous.

How did Andrew propose?

I will start off by saying Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I really never want it to end. For most people, Christmas is something they love when they are children, but grow out of in time. I can firmly say that I will never outgrow Christmas. I especially love the season, the decorating, baking, songs, anything involving Christmas I love. The saddest part of Christmas for me is when Christmas morning is over, because there is nothing left until next year.

This Christmas, the first that Andrew and I have spent together for the entire day was extremely special. After Christmas morning was over, Andrew told me he hid gifts around the house so that Christmas would never end. I found that he had gotten us furniture for our porch and I was so excited, he said we would eat dinner outside. After we ate our dinner, Andrew cleared the plates and went inside and told me not to look. I thought he was getting dessert, but he took a long time and I asked him if he needed any help.

When he came back he had my computer and on it he played a video he had made, composed of photos of us and with him singing one of my favorite songs in the background. After it was over, he got down on one knee and also lit up the lights hanging over the porch door. I said yes and to this day it was a special moment I will always remember.

I love hearing those two stories. It surely warms my heart. Great job Andrew on making that Christmas especially memorable for Sarah.
