Today I am thrilled to share photos from Erin & Austin  Lake Mary Event Center wedding. We had such a great  day with the couple. They are the most loving, sweet and down to earth people I’ve ever met. Thank you Erin & Austin for choosing me as your wedding photographer!

Erin & Austin had a sweet and very romantic rustic wedding. Nothing says romance and rustic to me like a wedding filled with classic blush, white and succulents. I just adore all the little details of their wedding day. The new Mr. & Mrs. Blakeslee truly has a love story that makes me tear up each time I read it. Here are some of the answers from their questionnaire when they first told me their story.

Tell us about how you two met? Include any locations.

In Florida when I was visiting my sister. He is best friends with my sister’s husband. We lived (and dated) long distance for 1 year and a half . I lived in Oklahoma and he lived in Florida while we both finished our final year of college. We both live in Oregon now. So glad we are no longer long distance and we get to spend forever together!

How did he pop the question?

He (along with my Dad and my son Roman’s help) took me to Silver Falls in Oregon. What I thought was supposed to be a family hiking day, turned out to be a pre-planned proposal. He made me an amazing video that explained our relationship and our journey so far. While I watched the video (on my ipad) I had to walk down this path that led to the waterfall. The video said “now look up” and I could see him behind the waterfall waiting for me. Then he got down on one knee and asked me. My son Roman was right there with us. 🙂

Seriously, I am such a sap for love. Every time I think about Erin walking behind the waterfall and seeing Austin and Roman standing there my heart totally skips a beat. Their love story truly melts my heart. This was the perfect rustic wedding. I can’t wait for you to check out the photos below and just feel the love in their family.
