Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Lin | Winter Park Florida Wedding

Happy Saturday all! Just 3 weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Josh & Catherine’s Winter Park wedding. I met Catherine & Josh earlier this year during one of their wedding planning visits from CT. From the second we sat down at the table we just clicked. I loved Catherine’s fun and spunky personality and adored watching Josh get all googley-eyed watching Catherine as she spoke about their up and coming wedding. They are such a sweet and fun couple. I was super excited when they chose me to spend their day with them. Catherine and Josh met when they were freshmen college at University of Florida. I love hearing Catherine’s story of how Josh popped the question to her. I totally have to share this story because it reminds me of all the trouble I gave Travis the morning he proposed to me. 🙂 “Josh had it all planned out. We had just spend Christmas and New Years apart, and hadn’t seen each other in almost a month. Josh’s plan was that after Catherine picked him up from the airport, they would spend the day in Hartford, CT outdoor ice skating, strolling through the park, and walking along the waterfront where Josh would ask for Catherine’s hand in marriage. HOWEVER, Catherine being completely oblivious the entire time, kept changing things up and wanting to do other things. In the end, Josh’s plans kept getting foiled, but Josh asked at the end of the night and Catherine said, well, YES!” One of my favorite parts when I meet my couples is hearing their proposal stories. I am such a sucker for love. It just warms my heart. Well, I won’t keep you from seeing some lovely pictures of their love story. Catherine & Josh I wanted to thank you dearly for sharing your special day with myself and Jessica. We had a great time at your wedding and with you both. Your bridal party was so much FUN!!!
