Finally blogging and of course it’s an amazing Up The Creek Farms Wedding but first. Dear heavens. I have not blogged since 2021… Please have wondered. Is she still around? I know, I am not the best at this whole social media posting, blogging, marketing crap. Many hats are worn by me and this is one hat I just struggle with. My focus is all on my clients that I am working with. However, I am grateful for those who have found me and trusted me for their weddings and who look at my blog and don’t judge me because I have not blogged or view my social and have not posted. I love you all and appreciate you. So the short answer. YES! I am still here. Life is just a little different these days and super busy. But I am still here.
Ok so now that we got that out of the way. I wanna focus on Madison & Taylor’s amazing wedding. We had such a freaking blast with these two and their crew. I met these two last year when they reached out. We did a video chat and it was an instant click. Their love for chilling at home and grilling out while listening to good music is totally my vibe. When they chose me for their wedding photographer I was ecstatic. I knew it was going to be one for the books and yes, yes it was. I mean their last names are McCaffery & McInnis.
Getting Ready
Who doesn’t love some fun details. Simple little touches are my favorite. Madison gave Taylor custom cufflinks with their fur baby. It was so adorable. She brought her custom Mrs. McInnis jacket in case it was chilly. I will say with all the dancing and partying it did not make the wedding but it did photograph nicely.
I love watching the anticipation, the nerves, the tears and excitement during getting ready. It is one of my favorite parts of the day.

FIRST LOOK & PORTRAITS
Madison & Taylor’s first look was so sweet. Taylor started to tear up before she even came out. Then when he saw her, it was game over!
There is one thing about Up The Creek Farms that I just love. No matter where you turn every square inch of the property is absolutely picturesque.

THE GENTLEMEN AND THE LADIES
Picking your crew is always important. A big wedding party can be fun. This crew definitely were fun and HILARIOUS!

CEREMONY UNDER THE OAKS
I am a sucker for oak trees and moss and the main ceremony area at Up The Creek Farms is such a beautiful backdrop to say “I DO!” I love when couples bring in tradition to their wedding. With last names like McCaffery and McInnis, a good Irish Tradition was a must. They chose to incorporate the symbolic unity ritual of Handfasting. Madison’s Aunt Nancy beautifully tied their hands with ribbon with their names and wedding date.

ONE BIG IRISH PARTY
One of the important portions of the day was of course the reception. These two and their crew love to have a good time. Plus the decorations were not too shabby. Up The Creek Farms design department knocked this one out of the park. I absolutely love the vintage details from Crystal & Crates and the florals were beautifully INSANE!!!!!

Ok so the last two photos are amazing. Mr. McCaffery & the McInnis’ boys know how to rock a dance floor.
SUNSET VEIL PHOTOS AND A PERFECT ENDING
Madison’s veil was so beautiful and romantic. This made for dreamy portraits to end our day with them. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. McInnis. You two and your crew rocked the farm!
