Charming Outdoor Farm Wedding Up the Creek Farms Shannon Chris

There is excitement in the air over here with only a few days left until Thanksgiving! Before we get to all of the amazing food and family time, we are bringing you this Charming Outdoor Farm Wedding. This gorgeous wedding took place at one of our favorite venues, Up the Creek Farms. Our couple, Shannon and Chris could not have picked a more perfect place to fit their vision. There is nothing like being among their huge old oak trees surrounded by acres of luscious grounds.

The big day

We started off the day by spending time with Shannon as she was getting ready to complete her wedding day look. I love the beautiful details on her dress. The embellishments on the trim and around the waist polished off her amazing dress. Her bouquet is definitely worth mentioning! I love succulents and I love them even more when they are incorporated into a fabulous bouquet. You will not want to miss the first look photos she did with her dad, because they are super sweet.

When it came time for the ceremony I nearly lost it watching their son, Kolby, in tears of joy as his mom walked down the aisle. The perfect weather only enhanced the beauty of the wedding. Up the Creek Farms’ ceremony space is one of my favorites, because the trees are just gorgeous. I could live there honestly.

The reception was indoors and decorated flawlessly. After the couple made their grand entrance they shared their first dance as husband and wife. Their cake was truly unique because it was made to look like a tree trunk with their initials carved into it. The rest of the night was spent dancing and having a great time. You could tell that everyone there was full of love for the couple.
