Top Five Central Florida Wedding Venues

It’s hard to believe the year is over halfway through! We’ve been reminiscing about some of our amazing weddings from this past year. That gave us an idea to help out couples who are still searching for their perfect venue. We put together a list of some of our Top Five Central Florida Wedding Venues to shoot at along with some of the reasons why we love them. Along with our list, we also wanted to let everyone know about this new venue search tool called Wedding Venue Map!

Seeing as how Central Florida is a top wedding destination, we understand that finding your perfect venue can be overwhelming. There is a new Orlando Wedding Venue search called Wedding Venue Map, which takes the stress out of finding your ideal spot. Not only does it bring all vendors from Central Florida into one convenient place, but you can also filter out criteria such as guest count, budget, venue style, etc. Even down to whether or not a venue has a noise ordinance!

If you’re still searching for your venue, here are a few of our favorite places and why, including some of our favorite photos from each of them.

Up the Creek Farms

The moment you enter Up the Creek Farms, you will fall in love with the scenery. Large oak trees with hanging  Spanish moss make the perfect atmosphere for romance. There are no bad spots on the property, so the possibilities for gorgeous photos are endless. One of our favorite locations are the boat house doors. We never miss out on those photos. With a gorgeous ceremony space under large oaks and a reception space perfect for dancing the night away, Up the Creek Farms has it all. You will instantly see why it is one of our favorites from the moment you get there.

Bella Collina

Bella Collina is a little piece of Tuscany right here in Central Florida. The beautiful architecture as well as the breathtaking landscape makes for the perfect backdrop in every photo. The Grand Lawn is complete with a backdrop of rolling hills and picturesque lakes. We have seen both ceremonies and receptions take place on their gorgeous lawn. Some of our favorite photos have been captured at the front gates and strolling along the cobblestone roads. A wedding at Bella Collina would be like having your Italian dream wedding without having to grab your passport.

Rocking H Ranch

Rocking H Ranch specializes in vintage garden and rustic weddings. The long driveway covered by a canopy of trees is our absolute favorite part! It is stunning and you may find yourself driving a little slower than usual just to take it all in. A sprawling oak overlooks our favorite ceremony site. It is so amazing to see in person. Another great space on the property is the reception area under the great oaks. There’s nothing better than having the night sky as your ceiling and numerous strings of market lights creating a romantic glow.

Arundel Estate

This is the perfect location for southern elegance. The estate sits on gorgeous land in the heart of Central Florida. The house itself makes for the perfect backdrop for your ceremony as well as the beautiful oak trees out back where we have always captured amazing photos. The reception space under the stars is another reason why we love this place. The 2-story southern estate is perfect for any wedding and has so much to offer any couple lucky enough to get married there.

The Howey Mansion

The mansion was built in 1925 by land promoter and citrus grower William J Howey and his wife Mary Hasting Howey. After an extensive restoration was completed earlier this summer, it is now open to the public as an event venue. A lot of future entertaining awaits this mansion, just how Mr. Howey would have wanted it. This is one of those venues where you find yourself engulfed in the amazing architecture and history. I could spend so many hours here just looking at everything. Like how the rose crest on the frontispiece at the entrance is a nod to Mrs. Howey’s favorite flower. The numerous iron gates are stunning backdrops for photos. I absolutely love the back area with the arched breezeway with one of their ornate iron gates in the background. This is definitely a place you should not miss out on!
