Check! I learned something new

So I have started goals for myself. One of goals is to learn something new each month. It is Sept. 1 and I have already met that goal for this month. So a big fat CHECK mark for this one. Time to move onto the next one. So what did I learn. I mastered a challenge I was always scared to try. A friend asked me if I could restore an old photo of her parents. I was a little hesitant because I had never done one and did not even know where to begin. I told her I would do some research and see what I can learn about it. I had never scanned a photo to enlarge or edit it and an old photo at that. So this was going to be a challenge and I LOVE A GOOD CHALLENGE!!! So after a night of research thanks to google and ehow I followed a couple steps to properly scan the old photo and started working on it. After two long days of retouching and fixing the picture is done. I have to say for my first time just winging something. It came out pretty darn good. I would not say I am a professional at restoring photos but I sure can try. It feels great to check something off my list. Woo Hoo! Let me know your thoughts.
