Courtyard Lake Lucerne

Happy Friday everyone! I am so excited to share Kara and Christophe’s beautiful, intimate wedding at the Dr. Phillips House at Courtyard Lake Lucerne. I just loved meeting with these two and hearing about how they met. Kara worked for the Red Cross at the time of the earthquake in Haiti. She travelled there to assist in disaster relief. There, she met Christophe who worked at her hotel. After hitting it off, the two stayed in touch after Kara returned home. They maintained a long distance relationship and their love flourished! You can just feel the adoration these two feel for each other from the moment you see them. Both of them light up when the other is around, they are just drawn together. It was so sweet hearing about how Christophe proposed to Kara while they opened their Christmas gifts. He said that he was so excited to see her receive the ring that he almost forgot to actually ask her to marry him!

The two exchanged vows in a wonderful ceremony in front of their closest family and friends. The bridal parties included Kara’s sister and best friend as well as Christophe’s brother and best friend. The whole party was completed by the couple’s adorable little son, Lukas. He was so cute I had to stop myself from squeezing his little cheeks! What a doll!
