University Club | Megan & Michael | Winter Park Wedding

Hi Ya’ll!

I cannot believe I am just now sharing Megan & Michael’s Winter Park Wedding at the University Club. Especially since Sunday was their 1 year wedding anniversary. I met Megan and her mother, Cheryl, last year at a local coffee shop to chat about Megan’s big day. From the moment I sat down with them we clicked. We spent some time chatting about the details but my favorite was hearing Megan talk about Michael. Each time she mentioned his name all she could do was smile.

Megan and Michael fell in love at first site. After several months of dating and spending time with each other it was a given Megan was head over heels for Michael and he with her. Michael is in the United States Army and is stationed in Hawaii.  Shortly after one of  his return to Hawaii from visiting Megan he was notified he would be deploying in a few months. They knew they wanted to live happily ever and get married but Michael refused to ask Megan over the phone.  However, it was a given they were getting married.

Megan’s mom jumped into planning mode and put together the sweetest and beautiful wedding for Megan & Michael. Cheryl wanted nothing more than the best for Megan on her wedding but mainly she wanted Megan to have the wedding she always dreamed of. She worked day and night planning and meeting with vendors.

In a few short months it was Wedding Day. Megan looked breathtaking in her Maggio Soterro gown and Michael looked pretty sharp in his Military Dress Blues. Megan and Michael wanted to make sure they had plenty of time for photos so they opted for a first look. When Michael turned and saw Megan his face lit up. All he could do was smile at her and Megan couldn’t stop giggling. Seriously these two are so adorable.

Megan and Michael’s day was filled with lots of love,  laughs and giggling from Megan. I do have to say one of my favorite details of their day are Megan’s shoes. She loves her Uggs and will wear them no matter what. Cheryl special ordered Megan very own wedding Uggs.  They arrived the morning of wedding day. Like I said, Cheryl made sure Megan got everything she wished on her wedding day.

I hope you enjoy Megan & Michael’s wedding. Oh Michael did not get shipped out and Megan has joined her hubby on the beautiful islands of Hawaii. They are truly living happily ever after.
