Ever After Engagement Session

Happy Wednesday! This week we are taking you all to Ever After Farms for an Ever After Engagement Session! I just adore our couple, Katrina and Nate. I learned that Katrina and Nate are first responders so I was very excited when she contacted me for her wedding. It is going to be this coming November at Ever After Farms and we cannot wait!!

An emergency call of a different sort

Katrina and Nate met for the first time at a local club in Orlando. At the time she was not single, so Nate refused to make a move. Later when she was single Nate ended up being one of the officers on a medical call. While she was there he sneaked up behind her and said something to the effect of “what, you can’t say hi?” After a laugh he kindly escorted her ambulance to the hospital.

After that, Nate was on a mission to ask her out. Katrina, however, did not give in too easily because Nate texted her to hang out for a week straight. His persistence paid off in the end when she finally said yes and they have been together ever since.

Anyone want seconds?

These two have the cutest proposal story! Their family had gotten together for Thanksgiving dinner, so Nate thought it would be the perfect setting for a romantic proposal. While everyone was eating Nate went into the kitchen with Bri who was chosen to be the photographer. They came out and he got down on one knee next to Katrina’s chair. Unfortunately, he timed it perfectly to match up to Katrina taking a bite of mashed potatoes!

Nothing like having a mouthful of mashed potatoes while you are being proposed to. After she gave him the “you didn’t just do this look” as she calls it, she happily said yes! Of course, the whole mashed potato incident is now a running joke in the family.

An outdoor ever after session

Ever After Farms is such a beautiful location for a wedding venue. This venue is truly magical! I love the gorgeous grounds and of course their antique pickup truck. We made sure to get some super sweet photos with it. There are so many gorgeous spots to take beautiful photos and it only makes us more excited for their wedding day! Their fields go on forever and we are still swooning every time we see the amazing aerial photo shots from Love and Lustre Weddings.

It has been wonderful to be with these two on their wedding journey. We cannot wait for their wedding, but for now we have their amazing ever after engagement session photos for you all to enjoy!
