2017 was super busy and 2018 looks to be even more crazy, but I love what I do and I can’t wait to see what this year is going to bring! I am excited that I get to kick off 2018 talking about this fun outdoor engagement session I had with a couple named Natalie and Chris.
Natalie and Chris are so funny to be around, which kept the shoot very entertaining. They met at an Orlando Ale House, but actually that is not where their love story begins. In order to get to the start of their romance, you have to fast forward two years from their initial meeting. Although a little crazy, Natalie managed to steal his heart by pushing him off a paddle board one afternoon on Lake Butler. I guess that is one way to grab a guy’s attention! From then on, they were inseparable.
Even though they prefer to spend quality time together like cooking dinner and taking walks around Lake Eola, they also like to do things such as travel and go on little adventures. In fact, one of their most romantic memories was a date they had on the banks of the Seine in Paris. Through a slight champagne buzz, they enjoyed fresh baguettes and cheeses as they watched the city transform from the daytime bustle to a mellow evening vibe under the French sunset.
The proposal is even more romantic. Natalie had come home to their new house and was greeted with six dozen red roses, their favorite champagne, and an amazing home cooked meal. Just the two of them in their new kitchen making a promise of forever. Simple and intimate.
I love engagement sessions, because I get to capture a couple when they are experiencing a new step in their relationship and spend time with them as their excitement for the wedding draws closer. Natalie and Chris were so entertaining to be around with their silliness and random dance moves that they would bust out of nowhere. They had picked the Arundel Estate as the setting for their romantic engagement session and thankfully it was a breezy morning. It was a nice escape from the Florida heat. As I say often, it’s always nice to have a couple who likes to have fun and be a little silly during their engagement session.
Here’s to a fabulous 2018 and I can’t wait to share so many more amazing weddings! For now check out their fun outdoor engagement session.
xoxo
