Happy Friday!! We are ending another fabulous week with a dreamy wedding at Up the Creek Farms. We are calling this one a Magical Up the Creek Farms Wedding because of our couples’ love for all things Harry Potter. As we have gotten to know these two we learned that they kind of love Harry Potter. Actually, they REALLY love Harry Potter. I love how they incorporated their favorite tale into their wedding décor. As you browse through their photos you will see how perfect everything turned out. I especially love their cake topper! If you read their engagement session blog you can find out how John used Lexi’s love of her favorite character to propose.

Getting ready for a magical day

We met up with the bride and her bridal party as they were getting ready in their matching robes. Everyone was all smiles as Lexi got into her gorgeous wedding dress. I love accessories with history, so of course I had to ask about some of her details. We learned the small ring she wore is her baby ring. John surprised Lexi with a tennis bracelet as a gift, so she ended up wearing it along with a bracelet from her friend. She also had her mother’s brownies bracelet on her bouquet as her something old.

Romance is in the air at Up the Creek Farms

Watching these two get married was something magical. They had their ceremony outside under those large oak trees that I am obsessed with. Their wedding party looked amazing coming down the aisle and we fell in love with their adorable sign holders. John was spellbound watching his beautiful bride walk down the aisle on the arms of her parents.

After their beautiful ceremony, we made our way over for portraits on the magnificent grounds at Up the Creek Farms. Trust me when I say that we are still swooning over their romantic images. When we finished those up we headed over to their indoor reception. Their reception was one long party from beginning to end. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they celebrated this amazing wedding day. I love how they finished out the night with a sparkler exit.

After all this time? Always.

As we mentioned earlier, these two were able to brilliantly incorporate their love of Harry Potter very tastefully into their decor. If you are a fan you will recognize the details instantly. If you are not familiar with Harry Potter, then you will just think they are beautifully romantic decorations. We are so excited for these two and it was an honor to capture their special day! This was certainly a magical Up the Creek Farms wedding!
