Family Estate Wedding | Kari and Jason

We could not wait to write about this beautiful Family Estate Wedding! Kari and Jason are the sweetest couple and to be with them on their wedding day was unreal. Everything about their wedding showed how important family is to the both of them. This is truly one of those weddings that we will be talking about for a long time.

Meant to be

Kari and Jason met when they were set up by his sister Diane. When Jason thought about asking Kari to marry him, he knew it would have to be perfect. He decided to pop the question when they were on a trip to St Augustine for the Festival of Lights. He proposed after they had dinner and then they went on a romantic carriage ride.

I love how these two love each other. In fact, their idea of a perfect date night is just spending time alone together. They also share a love of books and the beach. Of course family is a high priority on their list and you could see that all throughout their wedding day.

The important family details

I loved so many of their details, but there are a few that I must mention. I am always interested in heirloom pieces and traditions brought into the wedding. Jason wore cufflinks from his grandfather. We learned that they were the same cufflinks his father wore at his wedding. Kari also wore her mothers necklace along with Jason’s mother’s ring. We have plenty of photos from these beautiful details.

That Florida rain and a perfect day

Of course we always have to worry about rain here in Florida. It actually sprinkled for a little bit in the morning. After that, we never saw another drop. Everywhere you looked around us it was raining, but we were in our own little slice of heaven and everything was perfect.

The one person in their wedding who I adored over everything else was Kari sweet grandmother. She is the sweetest woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was their flower girl and enjoyed every moment of it! It was one of my favorite parts of their wedding.

As we mentioned earlier, they were married on a beautiful family estate farm belonging to Jason’s mother. There was so much space for their romantic ceremony. Jason was all smiles watching Kari walk down the aisle on the arms of her sons. I also love that they had a classic Corvette which everyone had a great time admiring.

After their ceremony their reception took place in a gorgeous clear tent that was beautifully decorated. No details were left out and everyone loved their donut wall. Guests danced into the night and you could tell everyone just enjoyed being there to celebrate Kari and Jason.

I could keep going on about the many things to love from Kari and Jason’s family estate wedding. I know you all will fall in love with the beautiful images we captured, just as I have.
