Happy Memorial Day Weeekend! I am thrilled to finally share Neysa and Ruben’s beautiful Mission Inn wedding with you. Here’s why I love their wedding: all of Neysa’s bridesmaids were her cousins and Ruben’s little brothers carried an adorable sign before Neysa walked down the aisle to greet her hubby. Neysa and her father did a first look. FYI I cried like a baby. Neysa and Ruben are incredibly family-oriented. I could feel the love on their wedding day! Here are Neysa’s answers to my favorite two questions from my questionnaire:
How did he pop the question?
“He popped the question on our 1 year anniversary. I was on my way home from work, and he asked me to meet him at the Citrus tower. I was kind of hesitant because I had just left cheer practice, and I was hot, sweaty, and hungry. I went anyways. I got to the tower, and a lady greeted me by name and told me to take the elevator up to the top of the tower. I rode 14 stories to the top and when the elevator doors opened, I got a breathtaking view of Lake County. Ruben called my name, and I turned a corner and saw him on a bent knee with roses and my ring. I thought I was going to cry, but I just screamed in happiness.”
Their story melts my heart. When these two are around each other they just gaze into each others and smile nonstop. I am so honored that I was a part of their day.
Enjoy!
