Hello Friends!
I am so excited to share this shoot with you. I had the honor of working with some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G vendors. We wanted to do something fun to show couples what we can do as artists for their special day. For me, it always starts with something small, like maybe a tea cup. If you haven’t heard I have a little obsession with them. I love to drink my coffee out of them. Yes, coffee out of a china tea cup. If you haven’t, go ahead and try it and I promise your coffee will taste better. Okay, so back to the shoot. In one of our meetings for our shoot I met with the lovely Sharon of A Chair Affair to discuss options for the shoot. It was there she took me on a tour of their warehouse and we passed their china collection. One little teacup stopped me dead in my tracks. As I got closer, I immediately envisioned lace, roses, pink, blue and gold china set on white iron tables and more. My brain started to go on overload. Our wonderful team started brainstorming and before we knew it it all came together. Bonnie with Mobella Events and I spent many phonecalls and trips to Fairbanks Florist, A Chair Affair and Everything Cake to work on our design.
I have to thank each person for their hardwork and dedication. Thank you to Leah and her team at Harmony Gardens for allowing us to take over their hidden gem and providing the salad crudette for the shoot. Denise with Dogwood Blossom Stationary & Invitation Studio made the sweetest little invitation and place settings to pull all of our details together. Hannah with Marigold Scott who beautified our lovely models, Grace & Marc. Of course our lovely models Grace & Marc for being so darn cute. Lindsay with LA Bridal for providing the stunning lace dress and attire for Grace. Sharon & Ann with A Chair Affair for providing the lovely chandeliers, china, table settings and church pews. Another hidden little gem Antiquish for supplying the white iron garden tables & chairs as well as the adorable blue dessert table. Jennifer with Over The Top Linens for the amazing lace table linens. Lana with Fairbanks Florist provided the perfect blend of hot & light pink roses, ivy, Jasmine, Grapevines, Queen Anne’s Lace and Larksburg. Her pocket floral for Marc was fun and different. Her table arrangements spoke for themselves. I still am stunned by the gorgeous bouquets she designed. She even dolled up our third model Rex, the pony. He is one male horse who has no shame in wearing pink. Finally, you got to see a little peek on Tuesday of one of the amazing cakes designed and provided by Alejandra with Everything Cake. Each little detail on the 3 cakes were breathtaking. From the gold trim to custom made peonies down to the lace & ruffle patterns. Her display was topped off by a two tier mix of floral and macaroons which not only looked amazing they also tasted amazing.
I cannot thank everyone enough for all their hardwork in making this inspiration shoot a success. One last thank you to the very talented Mary with Key Moment Films for capturing the whole day to remind us how beautiful the day was.
Ok, okay I won’t keep you waiting. Here are the images from the shoot. Enjoy!
Xoxo,
Bumby
