Is it me or has this month flown by? It is hard to believe it is already President’s Day! Another good thing about today is we get to bring you another beautiful feature! This Seaside Inspired Wedding at Up the Creek Farms is definitely one that still has us swooning. I have had a ball working with Jennifer and Brian, so we are excited to bring you their gorgeous wedding!
You may remember Jennifer and Brian when we wrote about their engagement session last year. It was a lovely day out at Ponce Inlet when we got together with these two and their pups Neko and Lilly. I will never forget watching them run with their dogs and how hilarious Neko looked. Just the goofy look on his face had me in tears from laughing so hard! I’m surprised I was able to control myself enough to take the photos. You have to see what I’m talking about in Neko and Lilly’s Parents Getting Married!
Just like their engagement session, everything was perfect on their wedding day. There were so many amazing parts, including a new twist on the first look, so we love sharing all about this wedding day.
Jennifer is so stunning, but it was her smile that really brightened the already beautiful day. I love how she gave personalized handkerchiefs to the very special women in her life, her mother, step-mother and mother-in-law. It was such a touching gift and had everyone in tears. The bridesmaids also wore beautiful bracelets made by Jennifer’s Aunt. Keeping with the theme, Jennifer wore a necklace made of sea glass.
The first and last touch before “I Do”
After the bride and groom were finished getting ready they put a unique spin on the first look by doing a first touch. They stood back to back and held hands while talking about they were so excited the day was finally here and telling each other their dreams for the rest of their lives. They were all smiles as they stood there holding hands one more time before they were to see each other at the alter. It is so sweet and definitely something different.
The seaside comes to life
I love their touches of the seaside in their ceremony details, especially their sand ceremony setup. What is a seaside inspired wedding without a sand ceremony? Their set up was romantic and inviting as guests made their way to their seats to wait for them to tie the knot.
Brian looked very handsome standing at the end of the aisle. Jennifer was beaming while walking down the aisle with her father & step-father. Their ceremony was very romantic and centered around their strong bond. After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, we moved on for their portraits. They look perfect together!
Oh we can’t forget the dogs!
One thing everyone loved at their wedding was the donation Jennifer and Brian made in their guests’ names to Bully Up Rescue. Bully Up Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to re-establishing the positive image of the bully breed. Such a lovely gesture from the bride and groom. Naturally that meant dogs had to be at this party! They are so adorable in their wedding attire, so you cannot miss those photos!
Gearing up for an amazing party!
After cocktail hour guests were shown into the indoor reception, which was beautifully decorated with seaside details. Sea glass, driftwood, and starfish are just some examples they used in their decor. The newlyweds and their guests had a great time partying the night away. Their friends and family sent the lovebirds off into the night with a path of sparklers.
We are so honored to be a part of Jennifer and Brian’s seaside inspired wedding. The day was perfect from beginning to end and made even better by the cutest dogs!
