Surprise Proposal | Leanza & Remi | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Happy President’s Day! Today I wanted to share the surprise proposal of Leanza and Remi that I had the pleasure of capturing. I met these two cuties last year when they modeled for a styled shoot. FYI keep an eye out that shoot will be published soon on Southern Weddings!!! Ok so back to their proposal. Remi contacted me a week before and asked me to capture the moment. Leanza and him have been trying to go to Disney together for years and each time they get ready to go they either get rained out or plans get cancelled. This time not only would it be their first trip but also a special one they will never forget. So plans were made and Remi flew in to surprise Leanza to visit for a week and said he was going to take her to Disney and nothing was getting in their way. So that day luckily she was so excited she told Remi “I am going to wear a pretty dress and do my make up because I am going to take a photo with all the Princesses” Remi said “Ok!” So he dressed a little nicer than you would going to Disney since she was all dolled up in her red dress. This made the moment even better.

So the proposal. Remi and I chose to do it right after the show Dream with Mickey which took place right in front of Cinderella’s castle. After the crowd cleared is when he would do it. During the show Leanza was smiling, laughing and dancing with excitement and had no idea. Once the show was finished they hung around and waited for the crowd to clear. Remi told her he wanted to get a selfie infront of the castle. When it was pretty clear and I text him the go ahead he took one more selfie of them and grabbed Leanza’s hand and got down on one knee. She was not expecting it and was totally caught off guard. She of course said yes but she was standing there in shock. Leanza’s has always loved the princesses and getting engaged in front of Cinderella’s Castle was totally a dream come true for her.

Congratulations Leanza & Remi! I am so excited for you two and so excited you chose me to be apart of this special moment. I look forward to more of them!
