We are kicking off the final month of the year with this very special wedding. Sarah and Michael’s Enchanted Forest Wedding was nothing short of dreamy. After they contacted us we were so excited we would be traveling to one of the most beautiful locations in Central Florida for their special day. Bridle Oaks Barn is one of those places where no matter where you go, you are going to get beautiful photos.
A meeting and a proposal
Sarah and Michael are perfection together! Since they both have busy schedules, they turned to the internet to find love. They found each other and from that moment they knew they had something special.
Michael’s proposal was a full day of love and fun. When they took a trip to Cocoa Beach, Michael woke Sarah up early to watch the sunrise. When they got down to the beach she saw her name written in the sand surrounded by candles and a seashell from the first trip they took to Cocoa Beach. Afterwards they went to the Space Center to represent their love of adventures and then to an escape room so they could problem solve together. They made it out of course and when they got back to their hotel room, it had been decorated by their friends who drove up while they were out. So romantic!
What’s a barn without some animals?
Bridle Oaks sits on 5 acres of gorgeous land in Deland, Florida. They have barns and a lot of outdoor locations to discover. I love all of the animals running around, too! We captured a few roosters lurking around and even the little goats came out for some photos. Sarah and Michael chose the perfect place for their wedding!
Not a dry eye in sight and the wedding hasn’t even started
There was a moment before the wedding between Sarah and her father-in-law that will live with me forever. Before Michael’s mother had passed away she had left behind a task for her husband to do for Sarah on the wedding day. She wanted Sarah to have the necklace her husband gave her when they got married. Just as the necklace was being delivered to Sarah it had started raining for a few minutes, but it stopped and never rained again. It was like Michael’s mom was shedding tears of happiness over how beautiful Sarah looked wearing her special gift. Sarah had no idea she would be receiving the necklace, but it matched everything perfectly. Michael’s mother was such a special part of their day!
Enchantment within a canopy of trees
I could not get over this wedding. In fact, I’m still reliving what an amazing day it was. Sarah looked absolutely breathtaking in her dress and it was so much fun to hang out with her and her bridal party. We also had loads of fun spending time Michael and his groomsmen, but before we knew it, it was time for the wedding!
The outdoor ceremony space is phenomenal! It feels like you are attending a wedding in the middle of an enchanted forest. I loved the doors leading into the ceremony space and the rustic alter. We were surrounded by tall trees and it looked like we were dropped in the middle of a forest. There was nothing better than the moment when the old wooden doors at the end of the aisle opened up to reveal the stunning bride.
After the ceremony we took their outdoor portraits and then moved inside for their reception. The barn had been beautifully decorated and you could feel the party atmosphere. There was a lot of dancing and friends and family celebrating the happy couple. I could go on for days about this wedding, but I’ll let the beautiful photos from their enchanted forest wedding speak for themselves.
