Fairytale on the Farm Wedding

This week we are celebrating Jennifer and Bradley!! They just celebrated their anniversary last month, so we are delighted to be featuring their beautiful Fairytale on the Farm Wedding this week. It is always a treat whenever we get to take a trip out to Up the Creek Farms and we especially love it when we are going out there for such a fun couple. We knew from the moment we met these two that there was going to be so much to love about their wedding day.

There’s something about beautiful days and Up the Creek Farms weddings

It was a beautiful day in January when Jennifer and Bradley tied the knot. We loved capturing their beautiful details, including all of the amazing stationary handmade by Jennifer. She really did an incredible job!

One of the details we loved were their custom shoes! They opted for comfy wedding sneakers that were not only matching, but also embroidered. Totally adorable!

Before everyone headed out to the wedding ceremony, Jennifer did two first looks with Bradley and then her father. Both were stunned at seeing Jennifer looking every bit a fairytale princess! To top it all off, Bradley had given her a gorgeous Beauty and the Beast necklace. We mentioned in their engagement blog that she loves Disney, so it was such a special gift for her.

Tulips and yard games

Jennifer and Bradley were going for a more simplistic look for their wedding. They had a perfect example of how to do simple elegance. Jennifer loves tulips, so they brought them into the decor. The tulips showered the ceremony and reception spaces with a rainbow of bright and cheerful colors. We were totally in love with their beautiful floral choices.

They had perfect blue skies for their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Although it was hot the previous day, a storm came through the night before and brought in freezing weather and a lot of wind. The chilly temperatures did not stop their guests from having a blast playing yard games during cocktail hour and even the bride and groom jumped right in. Everyone was having so much fun and we made sure to not miss a moment.

An unforgettable celebration

After having a fun cocktail hour on the lawn, guests were ushered into the beautiful boathouse for the reception. If you follow our blogs, you know we always love being at Up the Creek Farms and we are definitely obsessed with the architecture of their gorgeous boathouse. We must note that an intense game of Jenga broke out during the reception. In the end, Jennifer’s team won!
