Love is in the air and we are bringing you one of our dreamiest weddings from the new year. Nichole and Jeffery’s Vintage Farm Wedding brought us back to one of our favorite venues, Up the Creek Farms. Their day was absolutely perfect and we are so excited to tell you all about it!
We did their engagement a few weeks ago, kicking off our 2020 blog features. We celebrated their upcoming wedding with all of their amazing photos, including appearances by their 2 adorable pups, Maverick and Bella. To revisit their romantic engagement session, find it here: Lake Louisa Engagement Session.
A touch of vintage elegance
We fell in love with Nichole and Jeffrey’s love story when we met them last year, which is why we were so excited to see their wedding come together. Their florals were some of our favorites. They used deep reds highlighted with lighter colors and luscious greenery. They were the kind of arrangements you could not help but admire.
Another showstopper was Nichole’s dress. It was like a modern twist of a vintage inspired dress. The layers of delicate lace and the gorgeous details on the bodice had us swooning. It is no wonder Jeffrey was in mesmerized when he saw her for their first look. Their first look is at the top of our favorite moments of the day. He was in tears before he even saw her! We ended up doing their first look in front of her grandfather’s Model A. Her father made sure to have it up and running for their wedding day. You all know how much I love heirlooms!
We really adore every single moment from their wedding. Their smiles did not leave their faces all day and we just enjoyed being with them because they are so much in love with each other!
A wedding is not complete without the furry ones
Although some rainy weather had us gearing up for a possible indoor backup plan, we were thankfully blessed with a break in the clouds for their ceremony. There is nothing better then a romantic ceremony under the old oaks at Up the Creek Farms. We could live under their shade. It is just the perfect spot to watch two people so in love begin their forever.
Two guests who came to see their parents say “I Do” were Maverick and Bella. That’s right! As if this wedding was not cute enough, they brought in the pups! They even had matching new collars to wear for the big day. Too cute!
Bringing the vintage farm into a dreamy boathouse reception
Now that everyone was together, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds with a grand celebration. The boathouse was beautifully decorated with their vintage inspired florals, deep red accents and romantic candles. Guests danced the night away until it was time for the grand exit. At the end of their sparkler exit they were met by Nichole’s grandfather’s Model A, which was ready to whisk them off to their happily ever after. So sweet and a truly unique touch!
We hope you enjoy all of the amazing moments we captured and we also have their gorgeous video put together by our talented videography team, Love and Lustre Weddings, at the bottom of the page. Here’s to Nichole and Jeffrey’s romantic vintage farm wedding and one we won’t soon forget!
