Happily Ever After Wedding Eagle Creek Stephanie and Ricardo

Everyone dreams of their fairytale wedding, but Stephanie and Ricardo made theirs come true. I loved seeing their Happily Ever After come to life in their beautiful summer wedding. When a princess meets her prince, everything is right in the world. From the moment I met up with Stephanie and Ricardo to chat about their wedding, I could tell they were so excited for their special day. They are so adorable together and I loved capturing those special moments between the two of them.

A Happily Ever Dapper Day

Speaking of special moments, I love their proposal story. In 2015 they went to Dapper Day at Disney dressed as Lilo and Stitch. They are always dressed to match and they had so much fun getting compliments and were even featured on a couple of pages for their outfits. Stephanie was ready to head home, but Ricardo said he wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom. She was confused, but decided to go anyways to take photos. When they got there he pulled out her ring, which she had been unknowingly carrying around in her purse all day, and proposed! There is nothing like a proposal at the most magical place on earth.

Once Upon a Wedding Day

Their wedding day was just as magical as the proposal. When you look through their photos you will notice that all of the details are DIY. First off, I must start with the dress! She bought the dress, but Ricardo’s mother made some gorgeous alterations. It was a one-shoulder dress, but she made sleeves which matched perfectly and added the tulle. I absolutely love her bridal Mickey ears! Their Disney inspired wedding would not be complete without them. Her dress is gorgeous and her bouquet is perfection!

Now, like most fairytales there is a villain, which in this case was the rain. The weather was nasty the whole time they were getting ready. As soon as we left her aunts house to move to the venue, it stopped. When we got to the ceremony space they were moving everything inside because the skies were getting darker. Stephanie urged them to wait in hopes that the weather would hold out. We got their first look in and had to pause for two minutes. After that, it never rained!

Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful and I am so happy they took a chance on the weather. Although the skies were dark all around us, they never opened up. All worries about the weather were forgotten the moment their romantic ceremony began. Their ceremony was flawless and everyone was just so excited for the couple. I melt whenever I see the smiles on Stephanie and Ricardo’s faces in their wedding photos.

When they moved inside for the reception, the ballroom looked like another dreamland. It was a family effort to put together their reception. Stephanie’s grandmother made the centerpieces and her dad made their feature wall. Not only did Ricardo’s mother do a fantastic job on Stephanie’s dress, she also did an amazing job on their wedding cake. The lace details and florals on the cake are a showstopper. To keep with their Disney theme, they displayed their Dapper Day photos and their signature drinks all had Disney names. I have to mention their dreamy choreographed first dance! They amazed the whole room and we got some stunning dancing photos.

A Dream Come True

Their wedding is a real-life fairytale. Just like the stories, the happily ever after is always achieved with the help of family and friends. Their wedding is a true representation of that. I cannot wait till you guys check out their Happily Ever After Wedding! Don’t forget to spot the hidden Mickey’s! Hint: look closely at the bouquet, shoes, centerpieces and cake!
