Historic Downtown Engagement Session

There is something about Downtown Sanford that speaks straight to my heart. If you know me, you know I love that old town vibe that oozes history and comfort. I find that Downtown Sanford is the perfect place to catch up with friends, eat great food and even the perfect backdrop for a romantic engagement session. That my friends is why this week we are featuring Allison and Shawn in their Historic Downtown Engagement Session.

A different look from their wedding venue

Allison and Shawn are getting married at Up The Creek Farms coming this November. When we discussed a location, they wanted to pick a place that was a little different look from their venue. Also, they wanted to keep the venue look a surprise for everyone.

I love that these two were up for anything, so picking Downtown Sanford was the perfect option for their session.

Thankfully I am very familiar with this location, so that was a huge plus. We even got some photos at a personal favorite, our private studio! There is nothing like going out on the rooftop for a unique outdoor setting. The whitewashed brick just adds that special touch I love so much.

We also walked around and stopped at various places along the way. The options are endless! From old iron gates, to historic brick buildings- we made sure to capture it all!

Can November come any sooner?

Meeting Allison and Shawn has been such a gift. All through the session you could tell they are so much in love! Just the way they look at each other melts our hearts. We are so looking forward to them melting all over again on their wedding day!

Until that beautiful day in November, we have their historic downtown engagement session to look back on. We are looking forward to a trip out to Up the Creek Farms to see these two lovebirds say “I Do” with all of their friends and families!
